A special birthday

Posted by admin on 22 Sep 2013 / 0 Comment

Hello all,

I have some different photos for you today. I have been a busy photo bee while I haven’t been posting (sorry about that). But now, I have some examples of my paid work to show you! Here is a very special first birthday that I was hired to take pictures for. Some examples are here, but for more photos, click Here to see my newly established “Events” page under Portfolio. If you are interested in hiring me for your event or for a photoshoot, click Here to see my contact information.

Without further ado, here are some choice shots.

This was a very important first birthday, with a lot of decorations, so, of course, why not commemorate them.

Here she is, the princess herself, looking curiously every time I take a shot.

And there she is, cute as a button while getting a temporary tattoo.

Here are daddy and baby sharing cake. So cute!

Suffice it to say it was a long day.

And there it is. The lighting at the event was tricky, and by tricky I mean mostly dark, with one giant window on one wall. But, thankfully, flash to the rescue! This was the first time I got to use my new flash. It was awesome, and makes me far more versatile when it comes to event photography, portraits in certain locations and in many other instances. I will be experimenting more with it in the coming posts.

I hope you enjoyed the shots. For more of these photos, check out the full gallery by clicking Here .

Thanks for looking!
