The world in the 21st century is an exciting place when it comes to advertising. We’ve all heard stories of singers, artists, at-home companies and others growing a business or even getting famous with a slick website, or just the right posts on Facebook or Instagram.
The internet means anyone and everyone can share whatever they want, and with potentially hundreds, thousands, millions or billions of people. It means advertising can be done for next to nothing.
But having access to potentially billions of people means that you’re also competing with the billions of people who are also trying to get noticed. So how are you going to get noticed?
A good place to start is by having quality content. That means engaging writing on your website, dynamic photos to share, and professional videos to show people who you are and what you’re about.
That’s what I can do for you.
I’ve been a community reporter for about seven years, often specializing in arts and entertainment. That means I’m a writer, a photographer and a videographer with experience using social media. But now, instead of reporting on exciting groups of individuals and their creativity, I want to work with them to feature their creativity and get them noticed.
Writing – I have experience writing website copy, bios, news releases and corporate sponsorship packages. If you have an ability, message or exciting origin story you want to share with people, I can help you with that.
Photography – I’ve been photographing events (from theatre productions to concerts to dance performances and more) and taking portrait shots of creators for years. If you want to look good in posters, newspapers and online, and have some extra shots for your Instagram or Facebook account, I can help you with that.
Video – I’ve made dozens and dozens of videos covering events like car shows, eagle releases and performances, and also worked with creatives to make longer videos about what they do. If you want to bring people into your world to share with them who you are and what you can do, I can help you with that.
