About

Hello World!

My name is Adam Kveton. I am a grad of Carleton University’s Bachelors of Journalism program, a reporter/news photographer of seven years, a videographer and content creator to charities and artists, and a creative.

My journey began when I left my hometown of Port Coquitlam to go to school in Ottawa. I fell in love, graduated, then took a road trip from Ottawa to High Level, Alberta where I started my first job as a reporter/photographer. This had been my dream for some time, and I was over-the-top excited to start my life. Then I returned to Ottawa, and found another job working at a community newspaper, and then worked briefly for the city’s free daily, Metro Ottawa. In 2017 I moved to Vancouver Island where I worked as an arts and entertainment reporter/photographer/multimedia creator for another community newspaper. It was a pretty cool ride.

But, ultimately, not what I wanted. In the last few years, I’ve changed things up.

Rather than reporting on what others are doing, I’ve been down in the mix with them, sharing the hard work of charities, volunteers and artists to the world with heart-wrenching videos, photographs and written content. I’m not an objective voice anymore – I’m out here to promote, share and create things I believe in.

I’ve flown over wildfires, interviewed the famous and the disenfranchised, photographed CFL and NFL teams, created videos with some of the most desperate and resilient folks in our communities and curated raunchy comedy.

I provide news release write-ups; website copy; photos of events, performances and artwork; videos from demo reels to marketing, campaign and fundraising products and more.

There is a ton of examples of my photo and video work on this website. To check out some of my written work, just google my name, Adam Kveton. Hundreds of stories I’ve written over the years are out there.

If you’re interested in having me do some writing, photography or videography work for you, please send me an email to chat about what you’d like and what I can do for you: akveton1@gmail.com
