Hello all!
I don’t know about all of you, but I am pretty pleased with myself for finally sticking to my “one post every two weeks” guideline, and I have a bunch of things to show you.
As you may have read in my last post, I had a fairly frustrating time with landscape photography as I was racing to beat the sunset and capture exactly the image I wanted. Well, this time I am happy to say I have taken my own advice and took my time. That, of course, means showing up with time to spare. And let me tell you, did it ever work. Not only did I get the shot I wanted, I also noticed some other beautiful details caused by the sunset at Mooney’s Bay.
But just before I show them I should tell you that at the end of this post will be a link to some of my professional photojournalism work. So make sure to check that out if you are interested. There are some really good shots!
The above shot was the product of plenty of time and consideration, which of course means I took a lot of different shots from different angles with different combinations of filters. So I needed to make sure I had the time to do that. It was a much more enjoyable experience, and meant I had time to consider other shots as well.
And there you have it, my triumphant return to photograph a Mooney’s Bay sunset in winter. Hope you enjoyed it! And if you are thirsting for more, click HERE for my photos from a Chinese New Year performance at Centrepointe Theatre! It was pretty darn spectacular, and turned out to be photo gold.
Thanks for looking!
